To me, it's pretty simple. I'm an SEC Homer as much as anybody but I don't want to go through an entire Winter/Spring hearing Roll F$&@ing Tide.

Besides, why give a rival more ammo? We already know we play in the best conference...this game doesn't require an ALA win to validate that. So, if that reason is debunked, then tell me why it's ok to cheer for them.

I hope they lose 42 - 0 so I can watch Saban and Kiffin sulk on the post-game interviews for a couple weeks.

I'll admit this much...I hope they win every game but UT next year only so we can beat them twice!!! Go VOLS!

I only cheer, root, pull and care about Tennessee winning games. I watch other teams play games all the time and I hope for a good football game and really could care less who wins the game. I just watch for good football.

I really enjoyed watching this game tonight and the two teams competing for the national championship. it was tight most of the game. there were a lot of critically good plays made by both teams. there were some great coaching calls made during the game. It was great to watch and enjoy.

Yep. I've been telling myself 2016 for about 3 years now. This and UF next year will be the most hyped games for me personally; I'd have to go back nearly a decade to think of a UT football game I've been more psyched about watching.

As I enter my 40's and have a couple kiddos running around, I have tempered my emotions to avoid getting too low on Sundays after UT losses. All that tempering is out the window in 2016. Win or bust from here on out, boys!! A new chapter in UT football is beginning.

That said, for the record, I'm not in the camp of Natty or epic failure. Simple goals: BEAT UF & ALA, SEC EAST CHAMPS, PLAY IN ATLANTA. If we are in Atlanta the season is a success no matter the outcome.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want their conference to dominate. Doesn't mean that you are a fan of any other team than your own. You just want your conference to be the best in the nation. No matter what team it is. You can still hate bama, fla and Georgia.
