This whole thing about who people are pulling for tonight is just plain dumb. Bama is still going to own this conference as long as Saban
remains in Tuscaloosa. So what do you want hear... Roll Tide, or the ACC owns the SEC, or the SEC is sooooooooo overrated?

No.....Bama is not going to "own tthis conference as long as Saban remains in Tuscaloosa." We will be his new overlord soon.

Don't the mulletted A make you sick? It makes me sick. Even before my hatred for florida there was a hatred for alabama. I have no memories of hating clemson growing up. Clemson is not our rival. There is no "3rd Saturday in October" for clemson. I love THE BIG ORANGE and I am a true fan of THE TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS. The maroon team can bite my big o' butt. GO VOLS

Cannot pull for SEC tonight. That means I pull for Bama, a rival that recruits our recruits.

Why? You ask why? You need reasons? What I know is that I will not root for that team tonight or any night, day, morning, afternoon or whatever.

Cannot? I have no idea what that means. I hope for your sake (and for the sake of your children if you have them) that the "whys" will fade so far into the obscurity of some freudian level of a salvador-dalian memory that you will only know that you will not root for that team and that no further rationale, justification or forum thread is needed to state such obvious and eternal truth.

I've been attending UT games for almost 50 years and have never, ever once pulled for Alabama. And I'm not starting tonight. Go Clemson.

I'm rooting for BAMA tonight as well. I lived in the upstate SC area for four years and those people drove me crazy about their love for the Tigers. They used to bug me about "real"orange being clemson burnt orange versus TN jail cell orange. I dont know how many times they schooled me on the proper pronunciation of Clemson being "Clempson" with a P versus "Clemzon" with a Z. I was there when they beat us in the peach bowl in the early 2000's and I didnt think Id ever live it down. They used to try to tell me Death Valley was actually superior to Neyland Stadium. I got so sick of seeing orange Paw Prints on the road all over that area. Rough days, yes they were. I remind you that the Carolina area has always been fertile recruiting area for us as we have pulled numerous blue chippers from that area such as Stanley Morgan and Shaun Ellis. Ya'll can root for whoever you want to. But as for me, just for tonight and tonight only, I have two words for you. ROLL TIDE !!!!! Wow, I cant believe I just said that. Lol. Go vols :)

Easy, dude. I think you misinterpreted. I'm not looking for a reason to pull for Bama. Asking why others do so and basically centering in on the pro-SEC mentality vs the Hate BAMA mindset.

But thanks for the passion...I think.
