Why you CANNOT root for BAMA 2Nite

I'm usually friendly with auburn fans unless they're on the schedule. I've met quite a few that are tolerable on my travels to the Mises institute at auburn.

All the bammers I interact with are Alumni, so it's a little bit different than Joe Wal Mart Jersey buying bammer. I also earned my MS from bammer (I never wore crimson), so my Auburn hate might be a little more than the next Vol.

I don't know what to make of you now Bearcat... A Vol fan who got his Masters at Bama, but is a Vol fan, and hates AU more than most of us? Well aren't you a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma...'

Logistics and work played a huge role in that

My undergrad was at UT though

I got 20 dollars that says the Clemson fanbase can't be as redneck as the bammers. That's an easy bet. I live in Bama, they have been out of the woodwork for a long time. Need to go back in their trailers and just shut up.

Another deranged fan living vicariously through bamas success. How many recruits have we signed because bama won their 50th title? Do they say "You know what, bama won another natty, so I should sign with Tennessee!"
first learn to use your own words and thoughts instead of spouting out some line you heard someone else say. Reading comprehension is not a strong suit around this board I guess.

I am the furthest thing from a Bama fan. I just have enough sense to realize them losing to anyone other than us does not really benefit us 90% of the time. Them beating everyone but us benefits us 100% of the time.

Wishing bad on your rival is lame and does not benefit you. The stronger your rivals the stronger you become and the more savory the victory. I want UT to win every game they play. I also want to them to beat each of their opponents at their peak to lay all argument to rest.

Ali was great and his legacy is strong because he fought the best and beat the best even if he lost a few along the way. Tyson's legacy is tarnished because he beat the crap out a bunch of bums then once he started losing the downhill path was paved in ice. He was not ready for adversity. I want UT to be Ali and if that means Bama has to be our Foreman then so be it.

That explains it, you're a closet bama fan.

Doesn't the university get extra money when an SEC team wins national championship? I thought I read somewhere that they give the SEC money to spread out through the conference but give the winning team a little extra. I

Guess i missed my copyright infringement.

Speaking of reading comprehension, I called you a bama fan as you defend below?

I'm impressed with your statisical facts derived from opinion.

Bama won another title, trophies for everyone! I want savory victories!

If bama wins big on O, I do think teams will give lane a look at head coach. I would love for that ncaa sanction to ruin another team. I thought he would hurt bama but I guess the ncaa would never allow their cash cow (nick saban) to get dirty.

This will fall on deaf ears. I agree with you 100%.

I can watch a game without rooting for either team.
And that's what I'll do tonight.
However, it would be nice for the Vols to say next year that we beat the reigning national champion.
That won't be possible if Clem wins.

I'd prefer the Vols to be Rocky Marciano.

I live in the Birmingham area, just an hour up I 59 FROM Mordor. I don't care that Bama is an SEC Team. I CAN NOT cheer for them, no way and under no circumstances. They can't even correctly count the 12 they have. If they win tonight they will probably say this is number 23 or whatever fictions number they pull out of their hat this time. I want Clemson to win so by that I can gain pure scheudenfreude from the bitter tears of the whining crying denizens of the Paul Finebaum show protesting how they didn't get beat, but how they "gave the game away". "The better team didn't win tonight" and all the other vacuous claptrap that will fill the airwaves tomorrow. I honestly don't see how any Vol fan could ever root for such banality as Alabama Football.
