Whats wrong with emotion? I think its absurd any vol would cheer for bama in a title game.

Change? No. Keep them full steam ahead? Yes.

Do Vols fans not want a changing of the guard? Bama winning title after title sure as hell isn't going to start the process.

Maybe we need a poll to find out if we need to root for/against or just abstain?

Changing of the guard doesn't happen at all if Bama loses tonight. Changing of the guard happens when we boat race them next October. I think it's absurd for a Vol fan to root for a team to win a title that would start bringing them to the top of the nation as far as recruits. Bama will be there even if they lose by 21 tonight.

Funny how that works huh? I've been in Alabama since 85 and these folks are the worst by a long shot. Auburn fans are tolerable, unless they're winning.

Lol, I thought we already have one.....I know we have a couple of threads about it, so a public poll is very much needed. Public, so we can find out who the untrue Vol fans are (those that vote Bammer)

In terms of recruiting, it's harder on us if Bama wins another Natty. Why? Cause we often have to contend with Bama for many of the same recruits, including 5* DE Kongbo...whom Saban offered after he committed to us...and weeks later, he decommits.

Bammer losing tarnishes their prestige considerably, so yeah...go Clemson.

Ha...would be interesting just to see the stats. I guess in my older age - turning 40 this year - I'm thinking more along the lines of enough is enough with this SEC pride if it means never seeing the end of this Saban led dynasty. Makes me sick.

If UT starts taking care of business on the field, none of this SEC pride crap will matter and the recruiting will handle itself.

I grew up there, go back often, and get way more respect from Bama fans than the Barners do.

Auburn fans are terrible and a little worse than bammers IMO. Maybe I just know level headed bammers

I'd love nothing better than the Saban-Bama dynasty to come to an end upon Shields-Watkins Field next October.

As far as the game goes tonight, bama just has too much for Clemson. This game will be over by halftime.

I'm usually friendly with auburn fans unless they're on the schedule. I've met quite a few that are tolerable on my travels to the Mises institute at auburn.
