Why would non-Tennessee fans be on here?

This place is like Wal-Mart, if you can't find it here then you didn't really need it anyway.

Opposing fans always spice things up. It's a good thing.

Who wants to be an orange catspause?

Looks like another cold shower day for utmba!

:lolabove::eek:lol:
Exactly correct, Lex. I just couldn't seem to get the water cold enough or the quantity/quality of caffeine high enough this morning.

Will football season ever return?

Having reasonably intelligent regular posters who support other teams makes this a better board. Who wants to take the time to participate in a board where moderators ban other teams' fans and scrub out all dissenting opinions? That would be like just reading a Web version of Vol Calls.

:pilot: Man I was just trolling through trying to get something started and saw this thread HAHA . No really ,you guys have a great vn that's why i'm here ! You know who I pull for but when we're not playing tn , I like to see tn do well ! There are alot of friendly people on here and a couple who sometimes try to get something started , but when I'm on your site I expect someone do that every once in a while ! There is really some good info floating around on here as well !!! Just remember that all other fans ( or this one ) don't hate the vols at all . ribbing is always good too so this is for my friend millsfield vol :number1: at least until the 23rd hopefully :wavey:

I was born and raised a Tennessean, however, I graduated from Alabama. My grandfather's grandfather fought in the Tennessee / Alabama Vidette Cavalry for the Union Army. My family first moved to Tennessee before the state lines were drawn. If truth be known, it was simply the Cherokee Nation at that point.

But back to the point, why am I here?

Maybe it's because I understand your perspective better than anyone else. As a teenager in the 70s, I saw the pain you went through and, in many ways, it's very similar to what Alabama has experienced in the 21st century.

What I can't relate to is all this Iron Bowl BS year in and year out. It seems as though I have to constantly remind the Alabama faithful that the longest standing rivalry of the SEC is played on the third Saturday in October.

And one day soon, Alabama and Tennessee will finally meet for the SEC Championship game. And that will be the best day of my life.

Simply put, this may be the best sports board on the planet. There's always lots of people online at VN and a lot of the other fan boards are far less active (end serious part of response about here).:)

We talk about a lot of extremely meaningful stuff here. Where else could one go and debate the beauty of an unknown fan attending a basketball game and have another poster provide the photo? It's that kind of dialogue that we all need.

Anyone identified her yet?

I used to be on a Gator board a few years back but didn't stay long. There have been other school fans that were banned because they gave the board problems.

One reason, most of them are non-educated citizens who drain the economy. Instead of finding a job, most sit on our boards and look to E-fight someone. I was unaware that the Internet had even made it to the state of Alabama. Good for you Alabamians, thank you for stepping in to the 21st century. Now if we can find most of you a toothbrush.
