I understand that it brings a mixture of opinions, but I have never once thought about joining an Alabama board if you know what I mean. It would make me feel dirty.:bad:

The problem is LG is always on VN, when does he have time to be on a Gator board? And, I would hate to have him as my attorney, he couldn't get off VN long enough to show up for court.

Not to mention the fact that it would lower your IQ by 30 points immediately.

It doesnt make me feel dirty at all. Quite frankly, I feel at home more so in here than I do at Texags.com. This place is better organized, much more diverse, and not nearly as narrow-minded. VN is much more efficient.

I like the diversity, it's good to hear that we aren't as good as we think we are sometimes...besides, it's neat to hear what's going on in other fan bases.

I didnt mean anything bad by starting the thread, I was just wondering why fans from other teams would want to sit around and talk about Tennessee all day. If I read a bunch of posts about Florida, UGA, Bama and KY all day I would vomit. But thats just me. . . :dance2:

I like it. I like the other view, it makes it fun. I like LG and gottwelve, they usually have good points. LG is a lot better than most of my friends, or family:the_finger: here in Gator country.:lolabove:

...I am feeling the bile rise as I type away. I have 0 interest in other boards, but have no problem with other fans posting.

I think it is a good idea for all of us to recognize...posters in general are above and beyond your regular fan (more interested/fanatic/opinionated) BUT we should NOT be misconstrued as the representative of the FAN BASE, but a very small part albeit a quite vocal part of such. :peace2:

I think the majority of the other fans who post here are usually just trolling us before or after a game. We only have a few regulars who actually contribute anything to the nation. Take that random Arkansas fan in our game thread during and after the UF bball game for example. All he really wanted to do was talk about how awesome Arkansas basketball is right now, it was totally pointless in the thread he was posting in.

I enjoy speaking to different fan bases I never go on anyones board to start trouble and try to ignore thrweads that seem derogatory about Bama. I am from the crap hole known as Louisiana but love Bama football. I dont hate Tennessee and actually think it is a beautiful state and would love to move there it is just hard to uproot even when you are tired of the sos. As a matter of fact I dont hate Auburn either, if i cant stand any fan base it would be the tiggers from whoville. Some of the most arrogant and obnoxious sob are here and eventhough they have a good program now you would think they had always had a great hx. i cant wait to start stompuing their butts again, but that may have to wait a while.

I think it is interesting to hear another fans point of view on a subject we fans may be close minded on. Most of the comments I have read from other teams fans have merrit or are good natured ribbing at the worst. The only acceptions are the occasional heal who pops in week of game and is gone week after game never to be heard of till next matchup win or lose.

Simply put, this may be the best sports board on the planet. There's always lots of people online at VN and a lot of the other fan boards are far less active (end serious part of response about here).:)

We talk about a lot of extremely meaningful stuff here. Where else could one go and debate the beauty of an unknown fan attending a basketball game and have another poster provide the photo? It's that kind of dialogue that we all need.

Anyone identified her yet?
