Why we won't beat Alabama

I know this is an off-the-wall reason but Im gonna guess that Alabama beats us this year just because they are a better overall team. Its no big deal, sometimes it just happens that way in sports. You go down there, give em hell for 60 minutes and hope for the best.

Realists can be as annoying as over hyping fans. Need to be somewhere in the middle imo. Something like "We can win, but it will be very difficult."

Dude, why even make a thread like this? It makes you a negavol. Just go back under your bridge. I don't like UT's chances in that game, but I am not crying about other UT fans having hope.

Ok - I'm a little too negative sometimes...my wife says the same thing. The problem is, the overhyping fans out-number the realists at least 100-1, and I think that's why I come across snarky and sarcastic. I'll try to work on it, but man, it's hard

Guys I'm being real I hope and want to win but more and likely we will lose. Ok people have hate on the we will beat Alabama thread and I make a we will not beat Alabama thread and there is still hate gosh VN.

The bammers have a better team this year. If all goes as it should, they'll beat us by three or four TD's.

That being said, my whole family is filled with bama fans! PLEASE win, Vols!

I'll root on the vols and my wear my orange no matter what...but we don't have a chance that day. Alabama is just wayyyy better than us. But I'm still gonna root them on like there's no tomorrow. go vols!

Seem to remember last time we went down there people thought we were going to get slapped around and we only lost because of Terrence Cody's large hand. I can't think of a single reason TN hangs with them, but I thought the same thing two years ago.

If that Kiffin coached team can go down there and lose only because of a combination of freakishly fat DT and horribly bad kicking to the eventual national champions, then I think anything is possible. Likely, no, but I will be down there cheering on my team win or lose.

Does it make ya feel better to create a thread of the probable and obvious? Yes, they are a superior team with more talent... they have first round draft picks all over the field. But, you never know.
