I was totally oblivious to how weak AU's schedule was thus far. Miss State is by far their toughest opponent thus far besides us. The West Va win is not that much to sniff at considering they struggled with Liberty and a down ECU team. Ball State is 0-4 against some horrible competition including Army. Then you have La Tech who lost by 18 points to Navy and beat Nicholls State.

I'm not going to even contemplate how bad their opponents' defenses are, except for Miss State who has a decent D.

Flip over to UT and you can argue the only two wins are over weak competition which is very true. Miss State is a better win than any we have but we have faced a much better D than any that Auburn has thus far in UF. UCLA's D is the real deal as well. Their D line played better against us than UF's D-line. Laugh all you want, but that Pac-10 team can play some D.

In closing, AU's offense is vastly improved, but they haven't played anything close to what they will see on defense this Saturday and it's a road game at night time in Neyland. Not too mention their skill players are all young. It will be very interesting how they respond to getting smacked in the mouth. The only thing that really bugs me about this game is we will either have a true freshman starting in place of Reveitz at middle LB or a third stringer. That should really help AU's running game.

I see no way AU's offense will see the filed much this weekend. Ball State scored 30 on their D. Ball State! Western Kentucky would stand a good shot against Ball State.

I predict we will by three TDs and then have to come back to earth again when a much better UGA team rolls into town.
We should run for at least 350 yards this game while completely negating their ground game.

You couldn't beat Ohio by three TD's. Neither team is getting blown out this weekend.

I hope this prediction is better than your Jesse Scroggins vision was

Obviously you didn't watch the Ohio game. The offense was trying to throw the ball around and see what they could and couldn't go in a game. 26 pass plays the first half and only 7 or so the second half.

We would have obliterated Ohio if Kiffin called the same game plan on offense as he did against UF. That was a practice game for Crompton and the receivers. Not too mention we were without many defensive starters.

You know after the WK game I could see that, then I remembered Crompton was our QB. Let's be honest, any win at this point against a team that is 4-0 is a great win. I don't care who they played. We are going to miss Nick Reviez and that makes this even more tough. Now if we can run it all over them, with no turnovers, maybe we win by 2 TDs

If Ut had AU's schedule, we would also have the number one offense in the nation right now and easily the number one D. WVU ripped through AU's D like a drunk frat boy through a sorority house.

I will tell you late Saturday night or maybe early Sunday morning who I think wins the game. I am pulling for the Vols but I cant predict the future either. We have way to many people that think they are Nostradamus on here. Its not as bad as how many times people ask when we will bench Crompton but it is close.

why does someone say miss st d is good when they stopped the 12th ranked sec offense in LSU. not saying too much.

plus their O was going against Chavis. Just kneel on 1st and 2nd and pick up the 1st down on 3rd and long. It's pretty simple and there are tapes showing just that from 20yrs ago
