Alabama couldnt do much against Ole Miss Defense. Ole Miss held them to 5 field goals. I think we will have a good game against them. We are getting alot of guys back that are healty and our Defense will keep it close and im "hoping" our Offense will click like the GA game. But either or, it will be a damn good game.

Their offense is not that good. Vanilla and predictable. When people say they are better than UF, I'm just not buying it. We can crush their O. As long as we pin down Ingram and keep them one dimensional (very doable IMHO).

Said it in another thread. I like our D against their O. Giving us 2 wks to rest up, and Monte 2 wks. to think about it.

Need a big game from the D. Our O will have rough road against their D.

I am calling a very close battle. Our respective defenses will neutralize each other. Whoever has the most TO will win. Special teams will be HUUUGE this game

Low scoring game. i would not be surprised if the score were something like 10-6

I agree.

JC is not, or / should not put up what he did against UGA, but that type of game will go a long way. Bama will not have to stack the line much, they are stout in the front 7. So JC will have to be as smart, and as accurate as he was this week.

BB needs to get healthy, big weapon in the passing game, along with the TEs.

you must not be watching the same bama. they are big, extremely strong, but still surprisingly have some of the best speed in the sec.

their running backs are horses, wrs make big plays, qb might not be as good as last year but is also just now starting(is good and will improve). good kicker and their defense is straight up stifling.

I just think we have played better thus far. You can't tell me that Bama has a better offense than UF. They aren't. You could even say that Auburn has a more explosive offense than Bama.

Our D can take em. Their scheme is nothing special, and we have played against athletes just as good as what they have. Our D practices against the best RB in the SEC. Yes, they are talented, but we have played better.

We shut down the best WR in the SEC too. Who cares about a Julio Jones?!

Have you really watched Bama this year? Best Bama team (by far) since 1999 and maybe since 1992. They are dominating on both sides of the ball and no team they've played has been able to keep the game close.

No offense, but Julio Jones may be as good or better than AJ Green and since Bama can run the ball I don't think our D can shut down the Tide like they shutdown UGA yesterday.

Have you seen the offenses that we have played this year. I can name two that are better than Bama's.

Not trying to get into an argument, but our defense is pretty darn good.

This will be a war in the trenches. Expect a very low scoring game.

Anyone thinking we will beat Bama is delusional. The rest of our games are completely winnable though.

As far as the thread title goes, I agree. But as far as finding a way to beat them, while not a good chance, I wouldn't call it delusional.

Saban's first year, the Vols were way more talented. And several Bama players are suspened before the game. All predict a Vol rout - but history proved otherwise. If we play solid Defense again, IF our special teams actually show up and there are no major breakdowns. anything can happen. While we can be realistic about what the result "should be" - if you are a true fan you have to believe our team will find a way to get it done.

I'll give you that. They just have too much talent and we don't. I think they are better than UF.

1. Pass and catch well whether its 5 yrds or 50 2.Kick the ball AWAY from Arenas everytime and 3. Tackle and not launch yourself like a flesh missile = with talent depth considered we have a 40% chance of making it a close win or loss.
