Nobody would voluntarily expose himself to the ire of his new fanbase by postponing joining up with his new team in this way. I feel 100% confident in saying that these coaches are helping with the bowl game out of a sense of loyalty to Fulmer. That is especially true with Cut who was not even around to recruit the guys who are starting on offense this season. Phil wanted them here probably because he figured it was the Vols' best chance to win but I have little doubt that if the Vols get hammered we will hear about people (coaches) being distracted. The Fulmer worshipers will take their cue from that and blame Cut, Taylor and whoever else.
the fulmerites may take their cue from that, but no one with common sense is going to listen to them. We don't listen to IE and Beef now.
Cut is staying because had Ole Miss not needed him for a bowl game in 98 he would have stayed then. Most coaches stay for the bowl game. You're just trying to bash Fulmer for something else and failing miserably at it. Just start bashing the Spence hire. at least you might find some merit to that bashing.
