Why Stevenson Left Bama For TN

Pruitt loves Bama, admit it. If Bama comes calling, you can bet he’d take the job. But I don’t think Pruitt will be their first choice.

I'm not going to admit something I'm not sure of. He may love Alabama now, but by the time he builds Tennessee to the point that Alabama would be interested in him, if that even happens, who knows if he still loves Alabama? Loves them enough to leave Tennessee?

I don't know, but right now I more concerned about competing with Florida and whippin Vandys ass more than I am this crap.

I tend to admire coaches who have a disdain for reporters. Popovich is the king of that.
People have a job to do. Why not let them?
Be frank, but no need to be snide. If you can’t handle being second guessed, you might not be the right guy to be in charge. Obviously Saban knows what he is doing, just direct traffic to your record and the fact that you win some and you lose some.

No need to have a “Mind your business.” attitude.

Where to begin. Like you, I really want to beat Saban when he is at his best, and I hope Pruitt can pull that off. Nothing would be healthier for college football than for CJP, Smart, Malzahn, and Mullin to be able to get their share of wins against the Tide. On the other hand, if you think Bama gets 5* studs and is #1 in recruiting every year because Saban has a great personality and a good day to day relationship with his players, I've got some beachfront property to sell you in South Knoxville.

And here we go again......

I never said that Saban was the most personable coach out there...And by the way--It's not all that important for a HC to likable. But the players better dang well RESPECT him. That's just something LOST in this age of millennial panty-waste wimps.

The BEST players with the most potential to make it to the next level look for a coach they can RESPECT.
They want a man who will "cut it straight" with them and push them beyond their personal limits in order to make them better.

Tom Landry said:
"Leadership is getting someone to do what they don't want to do, to achieve what they want to achieve.”

And that's what makes Saban a WINNER....and it's WHY recruits sign with Alabama.

I think CJP and his staff understand this simple coaching truth.

GO VOLS!

Let me splain it to you amigo. I've been around Saban numerous times. He's a supreme prick. Everyone is on pins and needles around him because they're afraid they will piss the SOB off and get screamed at. Not many people who know the guy like to be around him.
What the heck difference does that make? He is paid to win games and championships. He does this. Screw the people he offends.
