Why so UPPITY?

Everybody wants their voice heard. When the football team started seriously tanking (Dooley years), it became increasingly hard to weed through garbage threads for threads that had real information. Fast forward to the last three of four years, and the only threads you find are people wildly speculating either insanely too positive stuff or over the top negative stuff. There’s nothing substantial at this point. They even have the same 8 year old jokes in every thread because the forum is so stale.

Even when I lurked, I enjoyed reading different opinions and learning things, one of reasons, I don’t have anyone on ignore or have ever reported anyone. Lately, I’ve been in the RF, because it fascinates me. I slip over to the FF from time to time, but it has seemed, this off-season, there are more and more, that want to pounce at any dissenting opinion from their own, with nothing to add to the discussion. Still though, there are some threads worth reading over there.

My biggest pet peeve is the clickbait titles or the ones who post insanely negative threads to get everyone talking. It’s like they’re proud of the achievement.
