Why in the world would I believe anyone here that says Dooley is going to be fired or he already knows he's not coming back next year. I mean not a single person knew he was going to be our coach. It was defiinitely Randy Shannon, then it was David Cutcliff. There were more coaches that were on there way and more press confrences schedule than any point in history that week. Not one word of it was true. Why should I believe that anyone knows what there talking about.

I had Dooley highlighted even then. He was riding really high after that close game against LSU while at La-tech. If we hadn't hired him and LSU had had one bad season back then, he would now be LSU head coach and it would be there problem..
So here is the deal..I am saying this again..no stoops isnt coming here..neither is peterson, saban, petrino
Charlie strong is running high on our list...Gruden would be first priority if he says yes but we are still waiting on his reply..he seems to be in two minds. I think he is headed to browns.

Where do Grudenites get their info? How do you know he's even on our radar? We need to have real expectations. He ain't coming. All of the Gruden hopefuls just make the fan base look retarded! I bet you also believe that pop-rocks and coke make your stomach explode!

Honestly few if any on here really know much but there are some with limited knowledge of the climate in the AD. Also if you can't tell the sharks are already circling dooley idk what to tell you.

You should believe it because you simply read what someone typed in a thread... And, you know that we threaders are like newspaper reporters in that we never-ever get the facts misconstrued... nor do we type rumors, gossip, and such...

Sorry, that was just my lame attempt at humor. Actually, you asked a valid question, and the answer is, we should not believe the "Truer than Life" or "You Can Bank On It" threads unless they are backed up by a reliable link or by reliable NAMED sources... otherwise, we allow ourselves to be sucked in once again by the hideous black hole of "Rumorvillia."

Not to be offensive, volmandu, but when you say that "Charlie Strong is running high on our list..." who is the "our" you are referring to? Your's or Hart and the "prominent donors?" Again, no offense intended. I would simply like that statement clarified. Thanks ><>

I'm not a "Grudenite," but I seriously do not think fans who voice their opinion that they would like to see him come to UT makes our fan base look "retarded." However, I DO believe saying it makes us look frustrated with our current state of affairs... and perhaps a bit desperate (if not a lot). But not "retarded."

Now, as for the "pop-rocks and coke"... well, I guess it depends on what kind of "coke" you're talking about. I apologize if you are offended by my lame attempt at humor. ><>
