So getting down to business and having a Sunday practice after getting throttled by a team that barely beat Houston, Ole Miss and ARK is supposed to get us back on track? I'm sorry but what have we been doing in all the other practices this year? If we haven't been able to come up with a gameplan better than what we had on Sat., maybe we should not even have practice...we couldn't play any worse!

I had a coach in HS that actually started practice the minute our game was done. We had played so miserably that he felt we needed some more work. We got the point and here's hoping the UT team did too.

from the TFP this morning..
Sunday is usually the team’s only day off, but Fulmer said a defense that played 84 snaps at Alabama would be better served to rest today before Saturday’s game with South Carolina.
“We’re looking forward to getting (Alabama) behind us, getting it out of system,” Fulmer said.
Fulmer said he talked to his assistants and some seniors Saturday night, and they all thought Sunday practice was “a great idea.”
“We’re trying to shake it up a bit,” he said.
But not too much. Fulmer said he didn’t anticipate any major position or personnel changes this week.

I don't see any reason for that!

Afterall, against the Bammer Bubbas we couldn't pass defend. We couldn't run defend.

However, we made up for all that by not blocking and tackling or secondary coverage..

On a positive note, our uniforms looked good.

Tell me this, how is the team supposed to get better if you don't see any reason for practice? Do you want us to be mediocre at best?
