Why not red shirt Worley

After seeing a few depth chart projections and most having Worley 3rd. Why would we have Nance 3rd and have Worley red shirt?

Want to see what he does in spring game....I'm not too thrilled with the idea of Simms @ backup.

Simms is no SEC starter, thats for sure! But i believe he would do in a pinch for a game or two if Bray goes down. Worley should redshirt

I cringe at thought of Simms taking snaps again because that means one of two things has happened...

1) Bray gets injured
2) Bray hit the sophomore slump and progressively gets worse and Simms is sent in to save the season.

Go watch what? Watch Simms gain valuable SEC experience last year? He's not incredibly talented but to some degree he is what you want in a backup. Someone who can come in during an emergency and not loose you games.

If your talking about Worley's tape, I've watched it all and his mechanics are rough. I'm sure Chaney beliefs he can fix that but it takes some time.

In person. His mechanics are rough but he is night and day better than Simms thus far. I'm not saying he won't redshirt because I hope he does. It would be a waste if not they didn't. He is all around a better quarterback than Simms but Simms has experience and I will take that any day of the week. Again, I was just stating he is already better than Simms.

If your speaking about potential, your probably right. He has a much larger upside.

There are 3 QBs that will get a long hard look this spring in addition to Bray and Simms. Nash, Raulston and Worley were all 3 stars coming out of HS.
