Why not go after one of these two, Fleck has proven twice that he can win with little to no talent and has taken Minnesota from bottom to upper in less than 5 years, did same at Western Michigan, Peterson a long shot but can do wonders with our talent, what’s y’all’s thoughts? Any better options not named, Malzahn, Kiffin, Chadwell, or Freeze?

I like the Petersen option a lot....but am unconvinced anyone can get him off the west coast. As for Fleck...I don't want another Jonesesque, ra-ra-ra slogan guy.

Whoever White chooses...I am encouraged by signs that administration is finally in the hands of adults...that they are serious about winning..and they are obviously willing to finally open the purse strings and pay what it takes to get the people here who can make that happen.

Before we pulled White out of our big orange hat, I'd have said those names were pipe dreams, but now I think we have much more clout when approaching coaches of this caliber. Not saying it's a sure thing, but our talent pool has grown a great deal since hiring White. You put White and Manning into play with a coaching candidate and I think we stand a pretty good chance. Napier, Campbell, Fickell...I think would all be possible now.

Minnesota stunk this year, I give him 2 more years at Minnesota before he jumps ship and leaves the oars behind. He's at a place where he will be good one out of every 4 years. I mean good as in 9-3 at best.

If I were AD, I’d give Gary Patterson a call.

If I were AD I’d spend a few million on a time machine. Then go back and hire Patterson instead of Kiffin.......then once I get back Tennessee is still rolling from years ago.

Then I realize I wouldn’t even be the AD.....so I’d have to scrape together another few million....go back and make sure they hire Kiffin......just so I could get the job.

Then I just hire Eric Bienemy or Freeze if Bienemy said no.

I mean we could always go back to like 2016 and provide Freeze with a burner.

I’m not sold on Napier, he’s not proving enough yet, Campbell already said he’s not leaving and I’m not sure Fickell could survive down here, that’s my only concern with Fleck as well

Yeah at Minnesota, they don’t recruit well! I’m sure they would’ve been better if it wasn’t covid, 7 games is not enough to base anything on

It’s going to be a hard sell to get anyone to jump into this dumpster fire right now especially not knowing what the ncaa will do.

Not a Fleck fan. Seems like a cliche machine like Butch. Peterson has always been a great option if he would come.
I’m just looking at how he wins with less talent, we have to look at that, sure we can get a flashy hire but can they come in and win in a few years before Volnation throws him a bone? That’s what I’m looking at
