The man just earns playoff births and wins championships every where he goes! He's won conference championships in 5 of the 7 years that he has been a head coach. He won a Division II national championship at Lenoir Rhyne. At the Citadel, he took a program that has been historically bad, and made the playoffs. At James Madison, he currently has a record of 25-1 and is working on potential back to back FCS championships. I understand that he doesn't have FBS experience, but neither Jim Tressel prior to being hired by Ohio State! He is a much better option than some of the other lower tier coaches I have seen mentioned if indeed Gruden, Frost, and the others have turned us down! I would rather take our chance on someone who has a history of winning championships (albeit at a lower level) as opposed to hiring someone who we know isn't going to win championships here!
