Irrelevant when you're coaching at Vandy. When was the last time they've been to two straigt bowl games? The broadcasters said it today and it was something over 50 years ago! A blind man can see he's turning that place around. Eventually a top team will grab him and get themselves a good head coach, assuming we don't do it now.

He's a heck of a recruiter. Vandy with a top 15 class? His second half adjustments humiliated Dooley. Not in my top 3, but we could do much worse. He could win here.

Wins against a charmin soft schedule prove nothing to me.

His two marquee wins are Missouri and Ole Miss. HOOOOWEE.

Bobby Johnson got them to a bowl...so no, he ain't that special.

Name 5 coaches we have a realistic shot at that you would consider a better option, not including tressel, gruden, or Peterson. All of those are pipe dreams.

Funny how all of a sudden some of you get snobby about the next coach...
Franklin would win at UT. Franklin with this UT team is scary. He has done something the Dooley could not have done at Vandy. He will not get the offer, but he is far better than what we have watched for the last 0,1,2,3 years......

He's got Vandy hitting, oh, about 150 'first-time-ever' marks, if you believe all the graphics and trash on the TV.......the guy can coach up a team.

I'd rather have a jerk and win then a nice guy and lose...sometime jerks get respect because they demand it from their players. and if they continue to win no one complains.

Let's crown him King! He's beat Auburn, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Missouri, and Kentucky..... I think those teams combined have 4 SEC wins. Whoopee
