have Fulmer, Condredge Holloway and Peyton sit down in a room for a day to come to a decision as to whom would be the best candidates for the job.

Have these three speak with some of the candidates. I would think that most any coach out there or their rep would take a call from Peyton Manning.

I would expect that we would have a coach by Friday afternoon.

You realize it costs money to fire these people right? It is this very "fahr everyone" attitude that got us where we are now. We keep firing folks and paying folks to not work here leaving less money to actually pay folks to work here. Ouroboros.. google it.

Throw in Charles Davis and that's a solid plan

What the hell is everyone's obsession with former players and FULMER coming in to save the day? That is not ever going to happen, not f****** ever. Just drop it already, GOD it makes us look like freaking idiots.

So you give Currie a passing grade on how he has handled this coaching hire. I tend to disagree with you. Failure in this case was not an option and he has done a bang-up job so far.

I think that you could just about fire him for cause (no buyout) for early termination of his contract.

He is going to cost this program a hell of a lot more money than his buyout if this coaching hire goes badly.

BUT I do thank you for telling me that firing someone under contract could cost the school some money. And just so you know the word is spelled FIRE.

Maybe the one who should be fired is the one that pulled the trigger on hiring Currie, what do you think?

I'd rather have Blackburn as AD.

If Peyton was in on the Schiano debacle, he can go play in Mississippi for all I care. Or be Haslam’s GM in Cleveland

Gundy would be great, but I sure would give Tee a very long look before I signed any papers. Would it be risky move to hire, Tee? Yes, but one I would be very willing to take if he is surrounded by very seasoned and successful O and D coordinators.

If it is Gundy, he'll need SEC experience on his staff, especially on the defensive side. The Big 12 isn't known for defense by a long shot.

I think I have a better idea. Why not just discontinue football. If fans are not mature to handle the ups and downs of College football. Several Universities in the US do not have football. Seem to get alone without just fine without it

Peyton was trying to sell the Schiano deal, he is a large part of the problem
