I'm kind of scratching my head as to why UT Football choose not to participate in the Breast Cancer Awareness month?

SIAP.. but, to me.. feels kind of like another fail..

Thoughts?

I was wondering this myself. I don't recall any game in October where we ever did the pink thing. I hope it's something contractual or legal, I really hope we didn't just decide not to participate.

Oh goody. Something new to beetch about. I also noticed Dooley started the game using a cane and then went back to the 2 crutches after the half. I blame that for the loss. WTF was he thinking?

It's because we don't want to break our stupid tradition of wearing orange & white only. Most people don't even realize that the original UT colors were black & khaki. WE SHOULD BE WEARING PINK TO SHOW SUPPORT. PERIOD.

Because, frankly, it is stupid to wear pink. It looks tacky and, imo, cheapens the sentiment.

I understand the desire to spread awareness for the disease, but the amount of pink shenanigans are too much. Put a ribbon on the field or on the helmet, don't change your logo to pink. Or camo. Or American Flag themed.

Sorry. Pet peeve.

Wondering if it is an Adidas contract thing. Has Miss State or AM worn it? They are Adidas too.

Edit: in support of breast cancer awareness but don't care if we wear pink or not. Ribbon on the field etc would be fine

DeerPark has stated that Dooley declined it. End of speculation.
