I think that he at least deserves second team all conference. He carried this team while lofton was out.

As a UT fan I agree but it would be tough to take off any of the guys on the second team and replace them with JaJuan. Maybe Abernathy from Ole Miss

jujuan is too inconsistent...he has shown a lot of bright spots in his game though...i think next year (when all the fla players leave :dance2: ), jujuan will be first or second team and when lofton leaves :cray: he will be the team leader for tenn and should be a first teamer...

for now jujuan is a roll player

Its JAJuan, and he is a junior, just like Lofton.

He is also 9th in the SEC in scoring, 11th in FG%, 2nd in steals, and 10th in 3pt%.

Last year he was a role player, this year he has clearly broken out of that role.

As for when Lofton was out, JaJuan scored 21 (USC), 22, 25, 22 and 16 points on just under 50%. Could your grandfather do that?

My only beef with JaJuan is occasional mental errors (forcing quick shots, cheap fouls, positioning miscues), but there is no doubt in my mind that UT is a better team when he's on the floor. He's hit some huge shots, made some great defensive plays, and "The Pest" is an apt nickname for him. Solid, solid player, and he was originally a walk-on!

Although he is somewhat inconsistent and takes a few too many questionable shots, he may be the leagues best defender.

IMO he should have a least made honorable mention.

i dont know why i believe this but....whenever lofton takes a shot, jajuan seems a little mad...i dont know just a thought that those two might not be getting a long...i hear from some ppl that watch tenn games that we play selfishly a lot of times...just a thought

Are we still talking about the guy who plays for UT? he's not even the team's best defender.

here's how it is: jajuan should have won 6th man last year. should have been mentioned this year. and no grandfather could score the point totals mentioned above.

That's ridiculous. Do not believe this. Do you not watch our games? Why don't you do that and then get back to us with some of your own opinions.

Does this team occasionally play stupid basketball? Absolutely. Are they selfish? Absolutely not.

Hey, Peyton told them not to be. They're gonna do what Peyton tells them to.

JaJuan has turned into a fine rebounder this year along with stepping up and scoring when Lofton was out.

He'll have the occasional lapse in judgment (attempted dunk off the backboard against South Carolina), but I guess we all do.

:) Oh yea. Same team, same Jajuan. There's a reason he's given the assignment to guard the other teams best non post player (other than there' no body else to do it). He's very quick and with long arms and quick hands.

I do agree that Josh Tabb is a very good defender. If he could develop a shot he can grow into a solid all around contributor.

My grandmother could have carried the team to a 1-3 record, bro.

Give the guy some credit. I dont care if the vols went 0-4 going night in and night out scoring 20+ is an accomplishment in the sec. No he is not going to step in and take over a big game and yes he make take some bad shots but that doesn't mean he isnt a good player.
