Again I see Jordan Rodgers on SECN talking to Finebaum about which current SEC teams he thinks are (or are not) worthy of respect. And again he's not particularly complimentary to Tennessee.

Obviously, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But what qualifies a former mediocre Vandy quarterback as an "expert" SEC football analyst? He's sitting there talking about what it takes to win a title. WTH does he know about what it takes to win anything? Because he's a pretty-boy "reality" TV star?

I'm sure they're trying to get more female viewers, but gimme a break with this idiot.

Are you sure he was not talking about bowling....

I watched the bachelorette.

JoJo...wood.

Before anyone jumps to assumptions, in my household we have one rule: if we watch hockey and football then we watch bachelorette and all those other annoying reality shows. Lol

Nicely done.

get over it.
This is the weakest SEC east since they went to divisions. The worst UGA and UF team in the same year since it mattered. Both will be damn lucky to finish im top 25. UT has looked sloppy, inconsistent, and evendors unmotivated at times. it will catch up Sat., unless things change. Had a fee things not fallen UT's way, Butch is on the hotseat.

This^
I want to think we're a great team but I keep thinking it's all been about our competition being really bad and we've struggled to beat them. Now it's completely possible we've played down to our competition which is something we've done since Fulmer took our in the 90's.
This team seems to lack focus. If our D continues to wait till they figure out what the other team is doing it's eventually gonna catch up to us. Shoop should be watching film over and over learning our opponents sets and what's coming and relayed to our players. That's not happening currently and we've looked silly at times. Offense is so vanilla it's laughable at times no creativity whatsoever. When things seem to go south It's like they decide to use the perfect plays all of the sudden, quit hoping to wear the other team out and flat out whip them from the start!

Team 120 is very talented but for some reason they seem to take plays "off" and not really sure why. Barnett is a beast at times when he needs to be and the game is on the line, why not be that way from the 1st snap? Still scratching my head during most games(1st half) but then the second half comes around and we're good again!

Who ever said he was an expert? He's just a man with a job giving an opinion.

You may be on to something. Maybe he won a contest.

Anyway, I still think it's pretty pointless and stupid to ask anyone from Vanderbilt what it takes to win an SEC title.

Came here to say he's the worst and any poster on this site would do a better job as an analyst. I think Finebaum has a crush on him that's the only reason he's there.

Worst analyst hire ever honestly. Basically said Tenn has gotten lucky. I think he probably doesn't even watch the games just comes in and talks out his rear end for a bit. There are so many other ex SEC athletes you could hire to do that job. His brother is likely the reason he was able to play college football and why he is now on air talent.

They have also looked better than they've looked in 15 years at times. That's why they are 5-0.

Also, your logic on UF and UGA is hilarious. If we LOST to UF and UGA like you think we deserved to, the Gators are top 10 right now, undefeated, and in the driver's seat of the East and UGA is top 15 with one loss. Are they still overrated at that point? Our fans kill me. When we finally beat our rivals, it doesn't count because it means they suck.

This! Same folks who were saying UF and UGA were really good before we played them - remember UF had that defense that was going to man handled us - are now saying they are not good since we beat them.

I've heard him on local radio, 102.5 in Nashville. Was actually impressed with him, even when he was talking about Tennessee. This was back in the late Spring, but he was articulate, knowledgeable and more than fair and complimentary of Tennessee.

Are you seriously this cranky?

Tennessee beat Florida and Georgia in the same year.
Tennessee beat Va Tech in the biggest spectacle in college football history.
Tennessee has been in the spotlight all year.

I'll gladly admit that there were many breaks, but stop worrying and enjoy it.

What qualifies any former player?? The crappy part about sports talk shows is its starting to be 90% athletes and 10% journalist
