What if West is right and we lose by 17? Will you post an apology?

Who cares what these guys say? His opinion of the coaches and team have no effect on the outcome. Call in and tell him why he’s wrong.

WW is an idiot. We are not going to lose to frigging WV by 17 points. Either we will blow them out, or it will come down to the wire and will be a very close game. Many are picking WV because of their QB, but there are many other factors that decide a football game than just the QB.

We have the superior bigger players at most, if not all positions.

We have a strategic advantage in that they have no film to study on us.

We have a fan turnout advantage according to JimmyH.

We have a motivated team and new coach that wants to prove everyone wrong.

Also, this game is at a neutral site so that doesn't play to WV's advantage either.

To think that this game is going to be a blowout for WV is absolutely ludicrous.

You may not want to hear this but there are people in the world and on this board who deduct 20 IQ points just because of an accent like the one Pruitt has. There are people who aren't really interested in a football coach as opposed to a guy with charm, charisma, and polish. There's also a good chance that Pruitt's direct approach has rubbed some of the K'ville media the wrong way. His wit has bitten several of them already. He's controlled information leaks which means that when he said reporters would have limited access to assistants and players... he meant it. When a new staff comes to town or new coaches, the first thing local reporters try to do is get close to them and develop a comfortable relationship. The whole point is so they can get "the scoop".

West may be like CNN WH reporters... thinking a privilege to access is actually a right to access.

Jerry Palm, a writer for CBSsports calls the coming West Virginia victory a 'no brainer'. There's some pretty high brow hatin all over sportswriterville enough for all.

This is going to be a up and down year. We will do good to win 6 and great to win 7. WVU may very well truck UT. We have to play the game and there is a chance we might steal this. We were 4-8 last year and this is a rebuild again.

If West leaves Knoxville it will only be for a smaller market or an entire change in career. I don't know him, don't really care what he says on the air. As far as his prognostication on the UT v. WVU game, we may lose and we may win, but we'll never be here again. So open up, I'm climbing in and take it easy.

I have never heard WW say anything close to saying something positive about Tennessee. I no longer listen to their show, even though I kinda like Josh. The first quatrer on 99.1 is just as bad. I now listen to music when I work out rather than put up with their negative approach to our Vols. They must have been trained by John Adams who is the worst of the whole bunch.

I don't see the love everyone is giving WVU at all. Outside or WG and Sills, the rest of the team is average at best. JMHO. I wouldn't be surprised if the team trucking someone isn't UT taking WVU behind the woodshed for a down right whooping. Reminds me of my mom telling me to go get her a switch so she could tan my hide. Too much embarrassment from last season, players have something to prove, coaching staff has something to prove and the media has done their part to throw cake in UT's face since the coaching search. I almost pity WVU because they are walking into a firestorm. As much as it pains me to say there's a chance UT might not win I don't see it, but WVU will feel this game for the remainder of the week to follow. 34-20 Vols! Long gone are the days of our boys being soft.

I feel like the animal and penningtons show always talk down the team to set the bar low. Those guys have lots of access to the program so they always keep expectations low so theirs no pressure in the coach. I mean Butch Jones was the greatest thing since sliced bread up until he was pretty much fired.

I love how the sports animal is supposedly "state run radio" yet people always complain about how down their personalities are on Tennessee.

Opinions are opinions. Who cares what their opinion is. It's just an opinion. Says more about you that you can't handle someone not being positive about Tennessee.

I respect others peoples opinions but the thing about Will and Josh is they don't show their work. WW couldn't break down anything except where the free donuts are located. It is hard for me to understand anyone listening to that arrogant ******* for more than two minutes. I just turn my radio off at noon when he comes on and turn it back on at 3. He is not only wrong most of the time he is just plain irritating. Grandpa
