Coach 23 is not a resilient enough individual to give 63 effort in his assignments, costing us opportunities in all three phases of the game. #butch

No real reps needed............just mental reps.

The Florida loss was coaching incompetence. This loss probably was also. Jones is not an SEC coach he can win in the MAC because he has the ability to recruit. In the SEC coaching matters.

I see that now. I wondered how he won all those games. If he can win 9 games in the sec he's a shoe in to win 10-11 games in the mac. He'll be a highly paid mid major coach.

Not sure how loaded this team really is to be honest. I've never really seen how all these "great classes" we've gotten during Butch have ever amounted to anything other than average. I keep hearing about how "loaded" and how much "talent" UT has. But they get pushed around on the field (even UMass pushed us around like children), they look slow compared to the other team (whatever team that is). Aside from Kelly and Bitulli I just don't see a lot of this "elite talent" actually translating on the field.

I am not badmouthing the players either. I see them trying very hard on the field. I see that they aren't giving up and quitting. I honestly do think they are doing the very best they can on the field. But coaching has let them down and they haven't looked like they can keep up with any SEC team so far. And honestly this picture pretty much has been burned into my mind since a friend texted it to me 3 days ago. I know some of the positions aren't good comparisons, but the contrast of this is stark.

I know, I just haven't been able to get it out of my head. And I hate my friend for texting it to me. It's like looking at a High School team vs. a Mr. Universe competition.

Still, I firmly believe these kids are giving their all. I have from year 2 felt the coaching is letting them down on every fundamental (sorry to use a trigger word) level.
