He seems to be worried about Philip Fulmer, but why? They are on the west coast. :thud::lolabove::eek:lol:

It's almost like projection where making us look bad takes the heat off of ASU for hiring Edwards. They don't want to look bad but their hire was. They could have had Sumlin, a great coach who got chewed up in the SECWest.

He called Fulmer a "pariah"...which is interesting. It can be viewed in a couple of contexts. 1) Someone who is viewed as less than others because of their character. 2) and more commonly used is in regards to an outcast, an untouchable (leper), and would be seen as the lower level caste in India. In other words, this guy (and I don't care to look up his name) is making a statement about Fulmer that would traditionally be used by Pharisee types or racists. Interesting.

Part of the splash back from the power struggle. Fulmer represents the old guard, football coaches with old style boosters backing him.

Arizona AD, former sports agent, represents the new wave, non-football business men ADs with new money backers that didn't have a long term football background.

Another Currie fan, like the AD of Florida.

The "new wave" doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

that’s so ridiculously out of left field, it doesn’t even make me mad. It’s actually funny.

Arizona state hired herm Edwards. Not only did they hire him but also kept the entire staff of the previous head coach in place. ASU is a clown show and quite possibly has the only AD in the country that makes Currie look smart.

Seems that he has a lot more to be concerned about there than to spend his time talking about UT. Guess he is just trying to re-direct the discussion.

Arizona State has the most boring fans I have ever seen...Seriously its like they don't have a clue what to do at the games so they just kinda sit there and stare not sure what is going on...I saw UGA fans talking smack to them once and they never even responded and the UGA fans were laughing about it..One even said if they had done that at Auburn or Tennessee they would be in a bigtime fight lol

Arizona State. Weren't they that team in the 90's that ESPN always said was going to be awesome every year they weren't...ever..?..

Their Sun Bowl year with Plummer was pretty good. Plus they smoked Nebraska one time, which we could never do in the 90s.

It has to be personal, such as a friendship with Currie. It does not serve ASU's interests for him to make these comments. It does nothing but potentially injure ASU's reputation. These ADs know better than doing something like this, so something that is emotion based like this means he's definitely buds with Currie.

Az State in the 90s- 62-51
Tenn in the 90s- 98-22-3

Throw in a national title and 6 top 10 finishes for the Vols.

Our 1990s were a fair bit better than their 1990s.

Cause he's a pecker head like Currie and schiano!

I nominate you for AD when PF retires. Anybody who uses the term pecker head (particularly as two separate words) iis a Tennessee boy for shure. Go Vols! And run them Pecker Heads outta town!!!

That moron is only trying to deflect the heat away from him and Herm Edwards and change the press away from his total screw ups.

1...Him hiring Herm Edwards is the biggest joke in college football and everyone is laughing at him for making such a bad hire.

2...He also forced his new coach into keeping the entire football staff of the coach he fired so that's a even bigger joke.

3...Herm Edwards allowing himself to be forced into keeping the old coaching staff makes him also look like a total moron because no serious, intelligent Head Coach would ever fall for something as ignorant as that.

4...This happening is solid proof that both the school and the new HC were totally desperate.

Trying to deflect the heat off of their total ignorance and on to AD Fulmer just makes them a even bigger clown show than they already were...if that's even possible.

FACT is that what took place at Tennessee was badly needed for a long time to greatly weaken the hold of the Haslam family over UT football.

The FACT is that it was a history making uprising by the very Loyal Tennessee fans that made things change in some very positive ways.

The FACT is that our AD at that time was a puppet to the Haslams and it took the serious work of our former Hall of Fame footVol coach and some serious boosters to pry the fingers of the Loser Haslams away from OUR football program.

The loyal Tennessee fans said ENOUGH and forced some excellent changes that should have been forced 20 years ago.

Reflect towards us Tennessee fans and our Hall of Fame AD all you want because most of us are very proud of the positive accomplishments we forced to happen and that we actually hired a real football coach with lots of WINS and recent National Championship rings rather than a desperate, worn out old has been coach that was too dumb to even get himself a new coaching staff.

You ARE still the laughing stock of all of college football and that won't change no matter how many times you attempt to reflect that away from yourself and your garbage football program.

Try again Sir Moron, LMAO!!!

VFL...GBO!!!
