The guy is a JR at a big-time D1 program.

Kids in Pop Warner know you can't just choke people.

he is not very good anyway, that hype for him was way overblown, this is on coaching, our D showed up to play, we just cannot get a total team effort. Still proud of the palyers.... GO VOLS>

hey, brother...I totally agree...but, you know after you screw up the first time, you should be called to the side...coached up about it, and sent back out the next play...coaching....it never stops...:)

Because Butch is afraid Kongbo will spill the beans on how much we overpaid to get him from Ole Miss. That would eliminate Butch's buyout.

That explains why the DL turnstile Richmond is still in the game as well.

Hopefully, Hoke will address this issue at some point this week. This looks terrible on him. Kongbo has looked terrible all game, running himself out of plays and no plan at contact.

Unfortunately if called out he will probably come up with some b.s. answer.

Well, anyone who actually looked at his film and his bio could have seen he was very inexperienced, and his twitter presence to see he had an overstuffed ego that would make him harder to teach.

But no, some were lusting and drooling over his fifth star. Guys like this might make for the basis for the next Disney sports movie, but I wouldn't take them over well coached experienced kids who win you championships.

Should have stayed inside. Not fast enough and apparently thinks choking is a legal technique. Just another example of Jones not putting guys in places where they'd succeed. McKenzie should be a Guard on the Oline as well. He has been a huge disappointment.

And because this staff failed to build depth during the earlier part of the season.....especially Indy St and UMass. Can't witch about lack of depth when you refuse to develop it. Look at what Bama did yesterday. That's why they never have a major drop from one year to the next and why injuries don't completely derail their season. Just another indictment of Butch and this staff.

I think it's more a case of the tail wagging the dog. He's letting Kongbo make the decision despite him clearly needing to be at DT. Along those lines....Mac should be at OG and Byrd at corner. Look at Jason Whitten. PF knew his future was at TE. Think Whitten is unhappy about PF moving him to TE? Yeah, Whitten likely didn't get marching orders from PF, but PF knew how to massage the kid and get him on board with the move because it was the right thing to do. Just don't think Butch has control over any aspect of this team. I don't think they respect him, and I don't think they believe in him.
