Janzen Jackson is starting because D Morley didn't want to follow team rules.

JJ is starting because our coach belives in him. If you don't agree sell your tickets, or your arm chair.

All Jackson needs is experience, Eric Berry said Jackson was a better athlete than he was! He was a 5* for a reason.

According to many of the players including EB this guy is the real deal. What a stupid thread. You'd complain if you hit the lottery. Get some milk and cookies and go to bed.

He has that, FR hit syndrome.

He will get out of that. I would be worried, if he was timid.

He's starting because he is a future all-american and the coaches believe he is the best we have. What's your complaint again?

He is starting because he is big time player. He is a ball hawk. He flys around the field and knocks peoples heads off. He was nailing people in the ohio game.. He is doing basically what Berry did his freshman year....stupid thread

does Jackson remind anyone else of Morley when he first started? I don't mean off the field issues, but on the field. He likes to hit a lot.

For the record, before someone takes this the wrong way, I really like Jackson. I've followed him ever since his name came up in recruiting threads. And I think he will be a good player.

Because we don't have anyone any better and he is a Kiffin recruit. He is the least of our problems. You can ask "Why is he starting...." for a half dozen other positions especially on offense.

I always find it comical how people can respond like idiots to someone's "opinion" as if their OWN opinion is the right one. Then they make comments like "Why did your mother give birth to youz" and "...don't ou wish you had some of his talent?".

Stupidity should be added like a word filter.

This kid can't make an open field tackle or wrap up to save his life. Also gets turned around in coverage quite a bit. Do we really not have anyone better?[/QU

Are you kidding me??
You must not have seen the FL touchdown he prevented with a vicious lick!

I would much rather have him not shy away from the big hit as a freshman than be timid...

He will get better with wrapping up and learning coverages. As someone stated earlier, with EB being all over the place there have been times JJ has been on an island as the deep man. And for the most part I think he's handled his own pretty well.

He will get better, or he will get recruited over... That's how this staff does things.

ohhhh yeahhh..... i REALLY like this answer!!!!:dance2::dance2:

i realized one thing about this video. it seems like the gator receiver held on the ball as long as Gafney did against us in 2000. interesting that they called it an incomplete pass.

oh COME ON, why did we have this guy starting as a freshman? as we can see he can't even cover a white WR. pft, he'll ride the bench by the end of the year...
