Dave Hart's 1 year notice is hurting us more than helping us. He needs to hire his replacement and gtfo imo.

This isn't a wait until football season is over type thing. ADs have sports all year, so he has to quit mid season in some sport.

Smart move.. another years salary. Parachute out.. or forced out and get the money early.. either way.. easy money

Could you specifically tell me why you think Dave Hart has been a bad AD here? I look at where our programs are right now, especially football, the attendance, and the AD Financials and have trouble seeing anything that I absolutely hate.

All he's done is hire someone who could temporarily recruit better than Dooley. Not hard to do. In fact, would have been hard not to hire a coach that wasn't an upgrade from the worst coach in SEC history. How can anyone like what is going on with basketball, women's basketball, and baseball? Even the football bump is short lived. Financials will crater unless team significantly overachieves next year. I'm not holding my breath.

I don't know about any other sports and frankly don't care.

Huh?

You think Hart, who I assume you dislike, should hire his own replacement?

And he should do so with the position over him not yet filled?

And what, exactly, is it hurting anyway? What is or is not happening because Hart is still working?

I'd be really happy if a really good new AD was announced tomorrow and started work on Tuesday.

At least we're allowed to dream, LOL!

WIN out boys!

Dave Hart got rid of Dooley, don't see that as a mark against him. Also, don't really think he had much choice in the Pat Summit situation, given her health. Also, he didn't hire Cuonzo (although he did screw up with his whole departure.)

Anything besides the big 4 that are on national television are window dressing. You surely aren't arguing otherwise I hope.

Doesn't mean that's not part of his job. Or planning for all the top facilities we have at UT

I don't quite understand how Hart retiring will solve everything? Oh, you must be in the camp of fire Butch immediately. Now I get it.
