But she did NOT fix it. She fired Currie when he was hiring a very good coach, Mike Leach, just to replace Currie with Phil Fulmer who bolluxed the Leach hire because Leach is smarter than he is. Well, just about everybody is smarter than Phil Fulmer. What chance do we really have with Fulmer as the new AD? We want to celebrate, but how can we forget what Phil did during his last years as coach? He never was a smart man, and he almost never hired anybody worth a hoot. All he could do was promote up coaches Majors had on staff. It may well be that Fulmer is still the idiot he always was, afraid of capable men who will make him feel inferior.
