Why is Calloway not used more?

I thought this guy had a breakout game against GT. He played solid against Florida.

Then....we throw almost nothing to him until the final drive of today's game.

What's the deal here?

The problem is no one is getting "used." We have less than 300 yds offense in multiple games. Result of our 5 offensive plays we run imo. Run on 1st down, pass on second, run up the middle on 3rd.

Tecmo Bowl for the original Nintendo had a more robust offense than what we do.

Staff can't scheme to utilize talent. Teams every week scheme to get their playmakers the ball and butch can't fathom how to do it.

Us football peasants just don't know that their defensive backs were in a z split, x zone, press 0, 4 wide, option control scheme preventing us from throwing to him. Football novices (like us fans) just see a freakish talented kid that catches everything thrown to his zip code, but we don't understand the game like butch does

Makes you wonder why recruits are already leaving? Is it coaching change is inevitable, lack of development, or lack of utilization? Or us crazy fans on a message board that want better results for these athletes...

Maybe he isn't getting open? There were very few passes to receivers today. I'm not sure if it's because JG doesn't see the field well, or because our receivers just can't get separation. And before anyone brings up that last drive, remember, the SC coaching staff is probably smarter than ours. They didn't want to happen to them what happened to us against UF--prevent D.

It's coaching malpractice to not target him more. On any top 10 team, he'd be targeted 1-2 times a possession.

Jones misunderstands the meaning of 50/50 balls.

He thinks it means throwing 50 passes to 50 different receivers.

I have no idea about his usage. Calloway and Byrd should both get atleast 8 targets a game. We have the athletes, NOW USE THEM BUTCH.

poor coaching all the way around..our recvrs were getting zero separation..give jg credit for not forcing it and getting multiple picks...don't think he has had enough game time yet to just throw up timing routes...slants and screens for now...line has to do a better job.

I don't believe Calloway was even targeted once in game against Mass. and maybe once against Georgia? It is inexplicable.

Did we throw 1 pass to a TE today?

I'm pretty sure Scott has NO IDEA what he's doing.
