Why I won't be devastated if he leaves

Normally going West to play for a West Coast team is typically a good move as you will play softer defenses. However, UCLA is now in the B1G and typically playing tougher schedules these days.

If he leaves? He should be out of town now!!!!
Noshow has been a class act his entire career guys. I thank him for his time here and wish him the best, but 4 million for his performance last year??
NO!!
4 million dollars for NOT throwing the ball and running outta bounds as the clock hit :00 with us behind...
NO!!

I’m never devastated when a player leaves.
Me neither. It’s the way to be these days. Not sure if it’s since I’ve gotten older or if it’s due to this era. I do remember being bummed when Ed Gray transferred, eventually ended up at Cal and had a nice career and played in the league. Tennessee has always bigger than a player that’s here for a couple years, I never sweat it.

We got other QB’s that are talented that may want to be here and play for the team and not just for a pay hit! Let him run if he is holding out for ransom and build a team around those that play for the team. Maybe he should watch film and etiquette on ZZ and Mashack from the basketball team.

I don’t care if he leaves cause I know the nil has ruined college sports. Money trumps all when it comes to these athletes so if him and his family want to take advantage of it and get more money elsewhere so be it.

Just speaking from experience, UF has had horrible luck with California guys, and guys from out west in general. I could site several examples, the most recent being Jaden Rashada, who has pulled this crap several times and is still apparently suing Napier.

I know you all take what rivals say with a grain of salt, but I wholeheartedly feel for UT admin and fans on this one. It sucks. I hate that you’re having to deal with the uncertainty.

The good news is, if it comes to it, the portal taketh and the portal can giveth. Regardless, the game sucks in its current state and needs to change, soon.

And getting less so by the year.

Afraid we are getting closer and closer to the total demise of college athletics. I quit watching pro ball a long time ago - afraid my Saturdays are going to look different VERY soon.

Does Jaden Rashada even have a team now. 24/7 is showing him entering the transfer portal from Georgia early in the year and it still has him not going anywhere.
