my pessimism about this weekend is growing. and i find myself in a very bad mood about it.

i want to feel like there's a shot. i know there's not.....hey, there's a poem in there somewhere...........


i hate Alabama. it never fails. i always forget. then this week rolls around. you hear from people you haven't heard from in 12 months. you get peppered with memes and records and blah blah blah.

and you know.......it's just going to continue for the next 12 months because we're going to get our doors blown off again.

i hate Alabama. this week would be so much more fun i if thought we had a chance. i hate Alabama.:banghead2:

2. Florida
3. Georgia
4. LSU
5. Vanderbilt
6. UK
7. Auburn
8. Ole Miss
9. Arkansas

Well, I was born at a very early age. My Dad started teaching me when I was about 3 about Bama. That was 1962. It was up there with all of the other lessons we learn in life. 1: Hate bama with all your' heart. 2: Treat others with respect (except bama). Don't
steal (except from bama fans). Don't lie (except to bama fans)............

I turned out OK, so he must have been right. God rest his soul.

Because a tide and an elephant have nothing in common and equal the worst mascot/name in the HISTORY of football?

Because if you add up all the teeth in the entire state of alabama, if your lucky you will have a single mouth full?

Because having a brother-father is sick and nasty?

Should I list more?

Grew up in a county that borders Bama... the bandwagon bama fans born, raised and living in Tennessee are the lowest of the low! If you want to yell "Roll Tide" drive 30 minutes down the road and do it in the midst of your own kind to save me from throwing up a little in my mouth.

The win over bama this year will officially usher in the Butch Jones era of Tennessee dominance in the SEC and be the start of a long tradition to continue for many more years. We have an infallible program and the players have all bought in so championship football is once again the trademark character of the University of Tennessee football program. I'll be extremely shocked if Tennessee doesn't win the SEC championship this year.
