Why Hart has no option.

Dooley's not going anywhere this year. But looking at the 2013 schedule, the only way Dooley stays on after next season is if we win a minimum of 8-9 games. That counts the 6 gimmes (Austin Peay, W. Ken, S. Bama, Mizzou, Vandy and UK) plus 2 or 3 wins against Auburn, UGA, SCAR or Florida. No one realistically should expect us to win on the road vs Bama and Oregon.

To be honest If we don't get Gruden , strong , Patterson or Peterson at Boise state id rather just keep Dooley. because I don't want smart or any other assistant coach and those are the only guys we look to maybe have a chance at getting? Unless stoops wants to come or maybe tressel?

Chris PetersEn (E damnit E!!)
won't leave Boise State...heck...he has his "rebuilding" team on track to go to another BCS game..next year Boise goes to the Big East...more money for him and his team and he doesn't have to leave the comfort of his home and he gets to do what EVERYBODY says he needs to do...play tougher teams.

He has got to fire Dooley. Not only for the good of the programs financial situation with loss of ticket sales and donations we will face. But can you imagine how ugly it's going to be in the off season and then after we go get our teeth kicked in (yet again by a good team) by Oregon? The fan outcry we see now will pale in comparrison.
Hart really has no choice and he has already made it, just hasn't announced it.

Oregon will be a tough assignment for not only Dooley but a new coach as well.

I really hope CDD is still coach here 10 years from now. Its so much fun to watch VolBeef whine like a little baby.

The only whiners on this site are the Dooley defenders. Y'all know down deep that your hero is toast. Haha enjoy Orange pants while you can Scooter.

It's called stopping the bleeding. But maybe you're right, Saban couldn't do any better than Dooley... My Goodness how is life in your make believe world?

You obviously haven't watched an Oregon game. Try to venture out of the SEC sometime. Oregon has a legit chance to beat the brakes off of Bama.

I am just as disgruntled with the season as any fan. But realistically, we have to play the season out. Then we can be more objective with our opinions. I think 8-5 will make everyone more willing to give the present coach another year especially with a bowl win. However, one more loss will force action by Hart. IMO

I am afraid Mr. Dooley has thrown his last kid under the bus..bye bye

I watch a TON of football. I've seen the Ducks play a lot this year. But they will not beat bammer. No way, no how.

Dave Hart will do what Jim Haslam tells him to do.

I think Oregon will put at least 80 on us next yr...their D is LIGHTS out!! they have an incredible offense and can score at will so it will be nasty...we will be lucky to score even one TD on that D...

I gotta agree with VB on this. Bama would destroy the ducks.

A disciplined well coached defense with talent will beat Oregon. Bammer will stay in their lanes and disrupt their run game with penetration from their d line.
