Seriously, all my search things appear at top, this appeared at the bottom, and screw Bama. Only time I noticed a ad at the bottom..

By default I get Google play and Amazon

If you have a cable/internet bundle, are TV channels using search history to pick commercials? I say that because it realy seems that way to me lately.

We just had a baby and have been absolutely inundated by baby ads--like I've never seen in my life. I can't believe this is coincidence or is just more noticing ads that I am more primed to notice.

It might have to do with what shows you watch. You know how sports seems to bring a lot of car and beer commercials.

I loled. And I'm sure I sound like half insane with this.

But they really are showing me baby ads DURING football games. It's weird. I just looked this up and there are some articles from last year that say that this is the new holy grail for advertisers, but that it had not happened yet and wasn't expected for a few years. Still...

Its called "big data" baby. Target was the first to link your debit card purchases at their stores with their coupons sent to your house with your searches on your computer via their website - producing predictive equations on your consuming patterns resulting in a specially printed coupon booklet sent just to your home luring you into their stores with their "deals" (thus producing more data). Now most big box stores or retailers are doing the same. I hadn't thought about the commercials being part of the scheme - but why not?
