Why florida needs to go undefeated to make the BCS championship game

Non-conference games:
Sept. 1, 2007 W. Kentucky
Sept. 8, 2007 Troy
Nov. 17, 2007 Florida Atlantic
Nov. 24, 2007 Florida State

They have 8 home games. And only one (LSU) tough road game.

I don't care that they play in the mighty SEC, they should be ashamed of this schedule.
I'm embarrassed and I don't even pull for the(once mighty) Gators.

Keep in mind that we were supposed to play UCF but they pulled out forcing us to replace them with Western Kentucky. UCF isn't a great opponent, but they're better than Western Kentucky.

Kudos on playing the 'Canes. However, don't insult people's intelligence by trying to pass Hawaii off as a quality opponent.

Quality is a relative term. They aren't Miami or Florida State, but they're certainly better than Western Kentucky or Western Carolina.

What's more, if we're talking about the BCS (which we are), you have to realize that many of the computer polls simply look at the W/L record of the opponents, and although Hawaii's 11-3 isn't the same as an 11-3 Miami team, a computer might look at it the same way.

That may work, but Hawaii isn't a quality opponent.
