Why even Have Instant Replay

It was the Big Ten that had it last year right? And it was hardly ever used. I suppose there is a chance that some grievous error might be avoided. I dunno, time will tell!

Only 1 man in a booth far from the field is allowed to say whether something is reviewable

Coaches should be able to challenge at least scoring plays at least once a half or in the final 2 minutes of the games

I was all for NFL replay. this is kinda a joke, I'd say make it like the NFL and let the coaches decide if they want to challenge!

Ugh, not the NFL-style replay. It works there because the games move much faster, but clock rules make the college game much slower. The last thing we need is more timeouts. I think instant replay is a good thing to prevent games from being decided because of bad calls. But CFB cannot use it as heavily as the NFL, or else we'd be looking at very very tedious games.

I think the on-the field ref's should be able to call for assistance.

Well, scrap an hour worth of commercial breaks that we all have to sit through and use that time for the challenge. The TV timeouts just keep getting longer and longer and longer. Some day it's going to take 6 hours just to play 4 quarters of football because of those stinking things.... :realmad:

I don't like the NFL style of instant replay...Head coaches have enough stuff to worry about during a game other than challenging plays...I also don't think that u should be limited to a certain number of challenges...If a play or a call is questionable it should be reviewed...I also don't think that a team should be punished for a play not being overturned
