Why don't we use Jennings as a running back?

I guess I'm much more pessimistic than you are I don't think an offensive line alone would fix the ills of our program
Probably not all the problems, but if the Oline and Dline were fixed, we would probably have only 1 or 2 loses this year and would the next 3 games. We would be averagiing 28-34 points a game and the defense would be giving up about half the points they have given up this year. All this with a first year head coach. You don't win many football games in the SEC if you don't have good Olines and Dlines. As I said before, even if we sign 4&5* linemen on both sides of the line, we will have to play them their freshman years and they do not come with SEC experience out of high school.

New England is having success using Cordarrelle Patterson as a running back.

Cordarelle and JJ aren't even close to the same type of athlete, and that's not a shot at JJ. Cordarelle is just flat out special WITH the ball in his hands, and is a physical runner with unreal make you miss ability.

As a patriots fan, he's also only playing RB right now as we've lost Hill and Burkehead (injuries) as well as Gillislee (cut) and Sony is also hurt right now, leaving Kenjon Barner as the only actual RB on the roster.

JJ is a true wide reciever.. lets keep him there and try and get him the ball more!
