Let's not sit around acting like we are the only fanbase full of idiots. He made his bed by trying to steal away in the middle of the night without telling anyone about it. Any fanbase that is passionate about their football team would have been upset with the way he weaseled out of town. No one should be surprised with the reaction when a guy you stick up leaves you in the lurch at the worst possible time. Was the reaction over the top? Sure. But let's not excuse his behavior because some idiots called his wife.

If the home & home games happen. It will be like the old vet statium when the cowboys walked in. there will be sh!t thown at him it would be crazy. the best thing to do is to get over it. who cares if he talks sh!t F^CK HIM. GO VOLS GET DA'RICK

We are pretty much getting what we deserve for hiring that bunch of ungrateful mercenaries...We give Kiffin a 2nd chance to prove himself and throw ourselves at his feet thinking he is going to bring UT back to prominance and he was well on his way and then BAM!...He just jumps up and flips us the finger and takes his ball and leaves for a school that he couldn't stop talking about the entire time he was here...Then him and his bunch try to steal away recruits that he was paid to help bring back THIS program...I personally hope he crashes and burns and his entire career is ruined...Believe me, It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people...Screw him and that whole bunch out there...I'm done talking about that cancer....I believe more in coach Dooley than I ever did with Kiffin...At least he appears to give a crap about the UT and its traditions.

I didn't word that well.

Don't know if I have posted it on here or not, but I have said before to some people that I doubt any of his alledged exploits ever get out because too many well-known people would go down with him, thus I don't think they ever will.

I am also going to agree that if said things are true that I also do not think they should have been covered up. (And yes, if Hamilton did cover it up he should be gone in a heartbeat.)

What I am saying is that rumors were flying around here before he left and everyone just brushed it off as typical rumors. Now that he's gone suddenly the moral police come out from our fanbase and are hellbent on making sure this stuff is known and will take him down. (And yes, I realize not every fan falls into this category.)

All I am saying is that it wouldn't exactly make me want to tell a recruit how great Knoxville was if I was in his shoes.

Okay good we are in agreement.

I cannot remember if you were the one talking about recruiting taking him away from his family...

The poor Kiffin kids now come from a dad and two grandfathers who cared more about their job and working 80 plus hours a week followed by partying than about being a dad.

It really puts them in a bad place and I do feel sad for them.

- Only 1

How long has Dooley been recruiting for UT to have a chance to reel in 4 star recruits not being looked at?
- 2 weeks
- Neal and Rogers weren't looking at us with Kiffin, and according to others, Stone had written us off.

The truth is we don't really know what we have with Dooley yet and how many 4 and 5 stars he can bring in. I'm optimistic on what he is doing, but we'll see the truth in time.

They both recruited 5 stars but nothing matters til signing day. we moved up from our highest ranking on rivals as 9th with X and now it's 7th and rising with Dooley and hes only been doing the job 2 weeks, X had a year.

Quit hating on a coach that is doing a really good job consider how X left this place and then tried to steal the recruits before they could attend class.

Dooley is a better person then X and a better coach apparently looking at both of thier records as head coaches.

Dooley= 17-20

X = 12-21

and X had better teams and players than Dooley could have dreamed of having at LA Tech.

You caught my second rant in one day. that's a record for me, sorry you happend to be the target.

Being a realist, this type of childish/classless behavior is what is going to be Lane's downfall in the coaching profession.

Coaches leave. They are hired and fired. It happens. However, ask coaches. You don't want to burn bridges.

Monte has coached many places and has always left on a good footing.

Lane's actions while entertaining in the short term are only hurting him in the long term.

What does he do when he uses up all of daddy's goodwill?

Lane is the victim in this situation, and in Oakland, and at the SEC media days, and when his Lexus ended up in someone's yard, and when USC gets probabtion. And he has done nothing but good for who give him a chance. Wait for the day he fires his father.

Who ____ cares? I will be glad to see the day when the scorned girlfriends on here finally let it go.

Pretty much nothing in this post is true...Kiffin had 3 5 stars, Neal was already looking at us and Rogers had already planned his official visit...
