Why does Currie still have a job tonight?

I don't know who has the power to fire him. The chancellor? She was in on it. The board of trustees? They'd have to call an emergency meeting.

Someone's head will roll. Should be his.

Currie will not survive this disaster. There was no passion, no excitement, no statistics, no diligence, no anything that would justify this as a good hire to renew and rebuild Tennessee football. Completely thoughtless. Currie is an idiot.

No way he can survive this. This is uncharted waters and TN has just been all over the National Media for the WRONG reasons. When state represenatives get involved it's real.

This whole mess tonight showed me all I need to know about Currie’s integrity and “pride” he has for UT.

Pure idiot who needs to be fired ASAP.

Currie: "I appreciate the support we've received from the fans. But some are mistaken. With our proud TN tradition, the Athletic Department sees nothing wrong with hiring an individual as talented as Greg. He was never convicted, I stress, never convicted of any wrong-doing. And the fact that he walked in on Sandusky during the act only confirms my belief that he is the right coach at the right time. Moreover, I have pictures of Greg in compromising positions ... and I doubt very seriously that when he becomes our coach, that he will ever leave.

No no, dear Vol friends ... Greg is of the highest integrity. Of that, I can assure you."

He won’t be there long. What coach wants to work for an AD that thought that hire was a good idea? He should have already been fired.

He committed career suicide but we honestly don't have the intelligence in leadership for him to be forced out quickly enough. We allowed Hamilton to hire Dooley after the kiffin fiasco while we were being investigated by the NCAA. Tennessee has to have a complete administrative enema before we will be relevant again and honestly that's never going to happen while the Haslams are involved.

This is way worse. We almost hired someone who knew about Sandusky.
