Sorry, I thought this was a thread about a long-lost Dr. Seuss book. Carry on.

Just pay attention to this board ,I'm new to this board but signed up for it because the times I read on here before you can tell the love for this team and the passion the people put into this . When that stadium by the river is rockin and The Pride of the Southland is playin ! How could you not want to coach here? It's Tennessee Football and if you can coach and win it is the next thing to heaven.

We are the University of Tennessee, one of the 10 elite programs in college football historically. We are General Neyland, a man who served country over sport 3 times, had one of the most incredible coaching careers of all time. We are 104,000 screaming fans that cheer for our team every Saturday, who are the most passionate fans in the country. We are the Vol Navy. We are the Pride of the Southland marching band, the greatest damn band on the planet. We are Tennessee, and we are damn proud of it too.

And that's why I think the Vols will get a top notch coach.

You need to change that 104,000 cheering fans to about half booing the team. That would leave 52,000 cheering the team.

I know it might be hard for you to understand either being a student or fan of the University of North Alabama, but when your in the SEC and play with big boys coaches tend to come in to compete against the best.

UT can pay a lot more than Bama did, plus living in K'ville is a lot more attractive than Tuscaloosa, which is the university surrounded by a bunch of trailer parks, strip shopping centers and rednecks.
