Why do you still go to Neyland?

I will continue to be a Tennessee Fan but I am tired of making excuses for Bargain bin coaches who make Bargain bin decisions. We have done that my entire adult life. I refuse to do it anymore. We lost to low middle of the pack Pitt Team on our home turf. Our Athletic Director hired his old buddy from his previous gig instead of doing a real coaching search. I will be the fan that tells it how it is this coaching cycle and when he's gone in 3 years I'll tell you I told you so.

You do you, brother. I don't know what you people expected this year, it's a clear rebuild, so all the agita and attitude people are exhibiting in here is misplaced and frankly embarrassing.

Find another team then. The bitching and moaning is tiring, fatiguing at this point. Did you really expect this team to be a contender? Have you watched ANY snaps against our defense? It's a sieve and we knew it would be.

This is NOT Dooley 4.0, stop it.
Beldar Cornbread was worse than Dooley anyway

Lay off hanging the coach after game 2. It's old. Give the dude a chance. The guys played hard. Just made too many mistakes against a Pitt team with 5-7 year starters.

I'm talking about the University of Tennessee's lack of comment to all of us over the past decade.

Just because it's the truth does not make someone a troll. If I did not STILL care this thread would not have been posted.

I'll always Bleed Orange, still remember when Johnny came home and have gone to The Hill since 83, but they're not getting another dime until they prove that they want to win at the highest level.

Don’t agree with you had we had QB production we would have won IMO. Had them on ropes 1st quarter and Milton overthrew 2 long balls of which at least one would have been a score if not 2 overthrown for potential TD.

And if we had Peyton out there he'd have had 7 TD passes. Facts are facts and this was a tough game for a really young, thin, and short on talent squad.

Debating selling my tickets after today.

Furious that we only have 1 competent RB on the roster. Not buying the Wright hype from our fans at all. He’s not an SEC back. Neither is Small.

Our QBs are awful.

Our OL is awful.
Where’s your seats ?

. I haven’t been to a game in Neyland since 2017 and probaly won’t ever be back till this administration makes a commitment to winning at a high level again. It doesn’t make sense to spend my hard earned money and drive 300 plus miles to watch a terrible product on the field year after year. And since it appears they won’t ever do that I guess I won’t ever be back in Neyland watching a game.
Don't you know? We're supposed to turn out no matter what completely apart from how contemptuously the administration and boosters run the program, whether or not they even try to be trustworthy with the great responsibility they have been entrusted with, one of the ten winningest programs in D-1 history. How dare us expect them to not run what was once a five-star restaurant like a gas station burger counter! How dare us to expect them to spend a small portion of the tens of millions they make every year from this program on the decision that matters the most for said program!

We're not fans unless we take our crap sandwich and thank them for it, and keep showing up every week to ask for another one!

D-line is part of the defense. Again, this is all stuff I am saying too, the issues on offense exist, but the defense is gonna be a sore spot, we knew this. It's game 2 of year 1, they will improve, CJH has us headed on the right track.

2010: It took 2 OTs to beat UAB But Dooley has us on the right track!

2013: We lost to Vanderbilt and South Alabama gave us everything we could take but Butch has us on the right track!

2017: We got Blown out by Mizzou but Pruitt has us on the right track!

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

And we would have won, thank you for making my point. Decent QB play would have meant a W…….

This post is spot on

They know the fans will show up, no matter what the product on the field looks like

They cash in on our loyalty

This is why the threads get heated that deal with predictions in the offseason.

There are actually people who will have the nerve to be surprised by the final record with everything Tennessee has had to deal with coming into this season.

And all that smoke gets people to believe, be disappointed and assume you have a coach that sucks.
If you think I’m surprised you’re kidding yourself. And if you think I think Heupel sucks you’re FOS

That’s a no brainer for me CW .Where else can you still piss in a trough ?
You know, I made 3-4 visits to the troughs today, and I got a bit of amusement each time. There was always at least one Pitt fan in there, and they always stopped a few feet inside the door and did a double take.
