Their site has the distinction of being the first site with the ability to accept crayon generated posts. Tuscaloosa is now referred to as the "Silicon Valley of Alabama", very similar to referring to Knoxville as the seat of higher learning in Tennessee.

False.

Tennessee has the Titans, a competitive basketball program, the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Nashville Predators.

Georgia has the Falcons, Braves, and a ton of other pro teams.

The ONLY thing Alabama has is college football. That's it. It's a statewide affair, 365 days a year. What I'm saying is, while TN probably has as many rednecks as Alabama, they are detracted by other teams. Alabama fans are concentrated on one thing. And when you have that many rednecks and low class people who set their lives onto one team, you are going to have a miserable fan base. That's my opinion anyway.

The truth is Neyland and Bryant coached in two different eras and their careers barely overlapped. Neyland retired in '52. Bryant didn't come to Alabama until 1958. Neyland was a great coach but he got Bryant when he was young. Call it OWNED if you want to. I agree we do hold on to our tradition and I am proud we have it to look back on. I don't think any Bama fan I know hopes that you are impressed.

There are more trailers per capita in Alabama than Tennessee! Alabama---redneck heaven! Also, why do bama fans count the 1972 championship as a national title? Bama finished #1 in the regular season, got some silly trophy from UPI, then lost to Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl! No national championship that year, but they still count it!

The entire state of Alabama is a 3rd grade level attempt to put itself down. Seriously, Alabama and Mississippi are the 2 states that people envision when they think of rednecks and trash.

There is a reason why all of the jokes about places backward enough for slavery to still exist inclue Alabama.

Also, Bear Bryant was never able to beat Gen. Neyland and didn't start his run until Neyland was gone. Both teams have a very rich history but most of BAMA's history was built upon a foundation of cheating while the Vols foundation was built upon Gen Neyland's maxims.

Even Bear Bryant himself admitted that he wasn't the man that Gen Neyland was and UT has long been looked at as the classier program despite Fulmer's hypocricies.

Not much good has ever come from Alabama, all though, I did get to see the Drive By Truckers earlier this year and they rock live.

As far as Tennessee making fun of Alabama............... :whatever: I'm afraid you have no idea how you're viewed by the rest of the world (hint* exactly like Alabama).
