Why do we not have lead blockers on screen passes?

Not looking for “cause coach suck”, I know that. But is this part of the scheme? Seems like we’ve yet to run a screen play for more than 2 or 3 yards, meanwhile we get gashed by them.

Want to see the RIGHT way to run a screen pass?...Go look at old footage of Johnny Majors teams...They ran it better than any team I've ever seen...Go watch the 1983 UT/Bama game.....P.S. Coach sucks.

They are too slow to get out in the flat.
