Why do rival fans love to stay on our forums all day and night

I hope it doesn't shatter any egos, but i didn't join out of fear of "the kiffin". I don't see how joining message boards and fear of an unproven head coach are related but i'm sure you have your reasons.
i'm much more concerned with lsu year in and year out and have never been on their boards, for what it's worth.

that's not true. He said he's bored and that's why he's here. Essentially, he can't turn to a UF board because it doesn't seem to cure the problem. That says the commentary on those boards is lacking, at least relative to this one. This board is covered up with idiots, hence those must be just unbelievable.

Had he said he enjoys being a resident thorn, I would understand. He would simply be the idiot, rather than the hordes on UF sites.

I actually just meant I'm bored at work and this site is cell phone friendly...
I've tried the gator boards but they take forever to load AND I don't get a lot out of sitting around discussing greatness with other gators... gets old.
and there are idiots everywhere. true on message boards and true in life.

but you said you had yet to use it from your cell phone. It appears this might have been your first post from one.

For me, every other site on earth would have to load at sun dial type speeds for me to spend any time on a UF message board, period.

I would assume they (rival fans like myself) would be looking for information on rival teams. Actually, I wanted to see what was going on with Coleman leaving the team.

Don't put all rival fans that post on a site in the same bunch, some like to debate without the senseless chatter and name calling.

Ok, lets try this...

In a perfect world all SEC schools would have teams that mirror each other. Personally I prefer a nail biter to a blow out. Who's to say that Kiffin wont have the boys in Orange fired up and ready to play this fall?

The thing that I was curious is why Coleman just decided to leave. Thats why I joined here to read up on whats going on over on Rocky Top. The little information that I have read said he had a great spring in all the scrimmages.

Apparently Coleman was told by the coaching staff he wasn't included in the major plan for the upcoming season. He said fine, see ya. Don't blame him. Personally, I'm a little nervous with the parade of players heading out of Knoxville. I hope Lane's plan is solid. We'll see starting around the first of September.

Is it up to 10 players now? I will say this, better to be gone and thin in places than have them on the team and not produce or play up to the level they can.

I think its pretty easy to figure out why other team's fans come to this board, especially UF and UA fans. Both of their teams are up.....ours is down at the moment, and they are enjoying it while they can. I, personally, would never be on a Bama, UF or any other SEC teams message board. I dont apply this to everyone (as I like LG) but most of those "fans" that go to rival boards just like to start crap, are attention whores and love patting themselves on the back for things that a bunch of 20 year old kids accomplish that they could never dream of doing athletically.

Look around, i would say there are maybe a dozen decent boards for college sports, the rest are pathetic in content and most look like a badly designed homepage from the 90's.

I went to a Bama board once, but it was only because I was researching the effects of inbreeding for Biology.

I voted all of the above but I would like to add one. They stay here because they are allowed to stay. Some have been good for the conversations but some that are allowed to stay can troll it up with the best of them.
