There all mythical son. Until there is a playoff prove me wrong. NCAA.org states a recognized voting body. UT voted in 1922 for this as did 67 other schools. OK what now. :crazy:

We got three in the last 15 years, including two in the last 3 years. Ain't nobody close to us in the last generation.

Not to mention that Bama's receiver pushed off of our d-back to get open for the game winning field goal. Never should of fumbled to begin with but a no call pass interference killed us. Can't push off.

Ain't that the truth. Lawgator1 is correct. Florida is the team to beat. Reality is an honest factor of life. Again Gators 44 Vols 10.

Gators have real expectations as does Alabama and for good reason. Having a coach who hasn't even coach one game talking crap about cheating is just stupid. In the forth quarter the Gators will break a SEC record scoring in the final minutes of the game. Lets all come back here third week of September and see just how close I came. OK. :hi:

well until you guys learn to keep going after you lose talk to us. 07 you went 6-6 only because you lost to LSU and gave up, same thing happened last year. lost to Florida and gave up to the Utes. UT still knows how to keep fighting after a loss

most people on here have said that ut will have 7-8 wins(myself included) and some are even saying we will have a losing record in kiffin's first year. how's that for realistic expectations? also, florida has won the national title 2 out of the past 3 seasons. why would they expect anything less than to compete for a national title again? how can florida's expectations NOT be realistic?

Actually, in defense of my Volnation friends, I'd say that the overwhelming majority have very realistic expecations this year. There's a few out there -- maybe a half dozen -- that are being silly and expecting way too much. Frankly, probably as many on the other end expecting the football equivalent of Armageddon.

But 90 percent of folks on here are in the 7-8 wins camp and for most even that is a soft number.

Don't get me wrong, they'll start talking crapola as the games approach. But in eanrest conversations they are pretty level headed, I find.

agreed, I say 8-9 wins. if we really look at it. UT didn't even show up for the Wyoming game but blew out 2 decent schools Vandy and Ken after that and the UCLA we should of won if they could coached would of put us at 7 wins alone. Not to mention beating Florida if we would of converted on the goal lines oooooooppsss did I say that lol J/K :rock::rock::rock:
