My 14yr old said "Who is the halftime show?" I said, "The Who." He said, "Yeah, who?" I said, "The WHO." He said, "who dat?"

It looked like to me they were lipsyncing at one point. Most of the people I watched the game with noticed it as well. Anyone else notice?

I do not think it was lip syncing. There is a huge delay in sound when playing in a huge stadium like that.

They are well past their prime but I would much rather hear them than some crapshow of Nickleback, Lady Gaga, or whoever else MTV would try to put in there.

I could buy that. There was just one time we noticed the lips didn't match the vocals, and Townshend's windmill strums didn't seem quite right, but what you said could explain it. I'm no music expert for sure.

Yeah if I were gonna lip sync I would have used vocals from 20-30 years ago.... Pete would just jump in there and Roger would have to slow down. they were waliking over each other. Notice this in their concert as well.

You guys didn't like the Prince show? I'm not even a Prince fan, but still, his halftime performance was epic.

probably the best I've seen but these shows can never seem to live up to the hype. if you've ever seen a live prince show its hard to compare the two.

Pete Townshend cant stand Magic Bus! On their incredible live album "Live at Leeds", an audience member keeps screaming for it! He goes on to say he hates that song,

I thought it was pretty amazing for a couple of 70 year olds. Townsand can still beat the box and still has some good stage moves. Daltrey was kind of weak but was expected at his age.

They are limited on time. They played pretty much what I expected, which was Pinball Wizard and the CSI songs. That's about all the younger generation would recognize.

the stage lighting was pretty cool and the instrumental music was good enough to actually sound like The Who. The vocals were awful. They could have dialed back from 11 and played an acoustic set much like Eric Clapton's remake of "Layla" and gotten away with it.
