Where is it saying in this thread "don't stand"? The discussion is about people who stand the entire game, blocking the view of those behind them, and ignoring requests to at least occasionally siddown.

Back when I had the chance to attend, I stood a lot, and I yelled a lot. But I also had some consideration for those around me, figuring that everyone was there to have a good time.

I understand some of you feel like that going to a football game means going somewhere to stand for hours on end, but why?

What is so wrong with sitting while the team is on offense? What is so wrong with sitting during the halftime show? Some people only want to stand when there's reason to cheer.

Man, we like to cheer and do the wave when we have injured players on the field and ignore them as they walk off for what is probably their last time of the season. (Crowder) I will yell and scream and stand on big plays but be quiet as a mouse when we are on O but go nuts when we score and make big plays. But, I do not stand up just for the sake of standing. I also try to be considerate of those around me. However, if someone stands up in front of me then I will stand to see and say I am sorry to those behind me but they understand because the guy in front is doing it. I have not had any problems this year except a drunk girl beside me and went to sleep on my shoulder but woke up and wanted to dance on thrid down for what and take me up to the ball game. Would've been ok if she had been cuter.

Hello. I was sitting in section K last night and a Vol fan about four rows in front of me was standing up and cheering for the Vols. The guy behind him politely asks him if he would sit down. He then says I am a VFL and cheering for my team. The fan then gets the cops to ask that man to sit down and he pleads his case to the cops saying he is cheering for his team. I had no problem with this man standing and cheering for the Vols. So why did the cops ask him to sit down? Didn't that man have the liberty of standing up and cheering for Tennessee?
