Slick Rick is asking why they can't win a game? It seems like it doesn't matter what coach the Vols have. The outcome is ALWAYS the same. Is it a curse like an article on volquest reports?

We lose focus when we are not at home. We have to bottle that intinsity when we are on the road.

The dance I think is more important to any team than winning SEC. I just hope we come alive in the tourney.

The NCAA tournament is what matters, a sweet 16 birth and the SEC Tournament loss will be a distant memory.

It seems CBP began speaking in the third person before and during the game and the team just lost interest!

hate to mention it, but if you think UT habitually stinks in the SECT, just wait till they get to the big dance. you ain't seen nothing yet.

Will Arky even make it to the big dance? Will Stan Heath even be the coach when the big dance starts? So many questions, so little time...

there are a lot of obvious reasons why they didn't win this time around. the one thing that sticks out to me is shot selection. How many 3's were attempted with more than 20 seconds on the shot clock? I was listening to the game on the radio, and you could tell Bert and Bob were wondering the same thing. Chism couldn't buy a 3 in the first half, yet he kept on throwing them up.

The past has nothing to do with it. We lost last night because LSU had a better team, irregardless of what each team's records showed. We didn't have anyone physically that could handle Davis inside. Last year we lost because we were overconfident and looked past SC worrying about our NCAA seeding.

No such thing as a curse. We will win when we get superior players (and they are coming) and play one game at a time.

i think pearl's teams have lost their legs come tournament time. i think that is why the 3's stop falling. its tough to play their pace for 30+ games. that and we have no frontline. lsu was just bigger. once we get some more big men we will have other options outside of the 3 point shot. of course by then lofton may be gone, so who knows.

We can't match up with most of our opponents, especially LSU. Hopefully, we will add McClain.

I suppose Slick Rick's brief flirtation with the first-person has ended.
