we have 8 games at home this year if are fans can just rally behind the team and be as loud as we are advertised to be we can win all 8 of are home games and win at kentucky thats 9 wins and i dont think carolina can handle 100,000+ crazy fans on the road and i think are team will be so motivated to kill lsu and are fans will be really loud that game that will be an upset and georgia wont beat us in neyland because they never can let go vols and we need to all rally behind our team because we are a couple defence of players at winning a championship.!!!

We've had two 9 win (or more) seasons in the last 6 years. Our record during that time is 41-35. Over the last 3 years, we are 18-20 with 2 losing seasons in 3 years. I'm not sure DD can even coach, we are average at best along the front seven while our LBs are well below average, and we don't know how to win anymore.

Based on the above we are an average team and we will most likely win around 6 to 7 regular season ballgames. I hope I am wrong.

quit being such a negavol if you dont think they can win nine say im not sure they can but i hope they do.the negativity from the fans will destroy this team if ,when they have a bad game .so if you want to be so negative dont reply to these post, its better for everyone.

Ariel attacks? The Little Mermaid is going to bring the pain, I suppose.

Beating Florida early in season could give this team a spark. We could jump up and get anyone, and that early win could give a spark. Minus Georgia, we were in many games, some only half, some on the fourth quarter. Had we held on, in say LSU and USC e, our expectations could be much higher. Hope is, we get over that hump and win those close ones. 9 is a stretch, but possible. Just unlikely. 7 seems safe assuming we don't choke to ky, vandy or the like. I'm putting it at 8, understanding it's based on being a fan. But it is doable. This is sports, and ESP in cfb, where players turnover rapidly, there is no way to know how good anyone will be, but you can be in the ballpark. Vegas set it at six and a half, I'll take the over. IMO 8 is the ceiling.

Maybe 9 if we are lucky enough to get a good matchup for our bowl opp.

7-5, regular season
7-6 overall is my thinking.

this is the best chance in years to beat florida---new coach, new system, their talent is way down and UT has a better QB, RBs, WRs, etc.

Gator defense might be the deciding factor, along with the swamp. Hope I'm dead wrong.

We won't win 9 games, because we are still too inexperienced. Next year is when we should see more of the fruits of this team's labor.

The starting front 7 this year features 2 players that are SEC caliber (Malik & Smith). Other than that, none of the other front 7 starters would play for our rivals (Bama, UF, UGA, etc.). Until the front 7 is populated with SEC caliber players it will be hard for UT to be above .500 in conference.

This 2012 stuff is silly. If we do another ****ty 7-5 season then its a letdown. Go out there and win the East like you should, no reason not to.

USC beat 'Bama at home last year and Bryant-Denny Stadium holds 101,821.
