Why are we not in the top 25 this year?

I figured we'd least be in the 20's since we have everybody coming back and we're probably the most experienced team in the SEC this year. Do they not give Tennessee respect anymore? What's the deal here?

We went to the nit the last 2 years, and preseason rankings are a joke, what was UK ranked preseason last year?

In good time, my friend. I'm really thinking that we have a great BB team this year! Go Vols!!!

We could end up the best team in the SEC. Kentucky is a wildcard and I'm not impressed with Florida.

IMO....Biggest reason is the bench. Talent wise, the starting 5 is as good as most top 25 teams, but the drop in talent past the starting 5 and the 6th man (either Richardson or Hubbs) is pretty steep.

The media have a bromance with Donovan and Crapilari, but not with Cuonzo.
There's your problem.

Not really. We don't know fully about Thompson and Pops but Armani will contribute. Edwards will if he can play just a little defense. Talent is there on the bench. They just have to apply it

And now we know why you only have 5 likes. We're actually so deep that'll be hard to come up with a 7 man line up because it's so competitive.

I don't agree. Past the top 6, I just don't see the talent as compared to other top 25 teams. I ain't saying this to get "like" it is my opinion, even if what I say isn't popular. Cause honestly I really don't care about any "likes"

Well I'm glad you don't care about likes. You won't get many when your opinion is wrong

I gave u ur like bc I agree we are not that deep....we should have a serviceable bench though unless we have injuries.

One of the more goofy things I've read. Start with naming bench players in top 25 because you've caved in on the starting five. Go ahead because I'm listening.

I feel where you're coming from but a win on Tuesday at Xavier will give many a different outlook. Patience gentlemen.

I don't have any other answers for you. Sorry.

I like the optimism, and from the little bit you can glean from the exhibition games + realistic potential, I don't see why we don't stand a real shot at opening with a win at Xavier. That said, its a tough venue, whatever their actual strength as a team, add something to it when they're playing at home. This won't be easy I don't think on Tuesday, but doesn't it feel nice to go into a game like this with real confidence we can get the W?

All star post. It doesn't feel easy and I think it will be a great test on both sides of the isle. I have not looked at Xavier's roster. I usually don't have time but I will look more closely for this game. UT has weaknesses and so does Xavier. It should be a heck of a ball game.

Last time in the Cintas Center, it was JP Prince's coming out party. Hoping we get someone else this time to really step up.

So, you disagree, so you won't be popular.
is that due to some kind of phobia?
